I’m Gidget Brown, Operations Manager with Laurie Evans & Team at The Real Estate Studio, where I help ensure that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly—whether that’s designing media posts, constructing VIP client gifts, or building systems that make our team more efficient. I love streamlining processes and creating tools that save time, reduce stress, and allow our agents to focus on what matters most—the people we serve. I like to call myself an “efficiency aficionado,” always seeking smarter, not harder, ways to work.
My path to real estate was unexpected. I came from payroll processing, and it was actually a side hustle as a poker hostess that led me here. One sponsorship opportunity introduced me to Laurie, and I’ve been supporting her ever since, even before The Real Estate Studio was established. Over the past six years in real estate—and three decades in office administration, graphic design, HR, and payroll—I’ve developed a diverse skill set that allows me to bring creativity, adaptability, and thoughtful problem-solving to every project.
What I love most about my role is seeing the systems I create help teammates and clients reach their goals with less frustration. I believe that when one of us succeeds, we all succeed. Behind the scenes, I handle contracts, research, listings, and scheduling so that everyone else can focus on people, not paperwork. Hospitality and thoughtful care guide my work: anticipating needs, providing seamless support, and adding personal touches that elevate every interaction.
Outside the office, I’m deeply connected to the Triangle. I host weekly cornhole tournaments, support local charities, and stay involved in the music scene—passions that bring joy, connection, and a little playful chaos to my life. I recently married my husband Patrick in a surprise wedding and enjoy life with our two dogs, Daisy and Sasha, and our five-month-old grandson. These connections—family, friends, and community—inspire the energy and care I bring to my work every day.
For me, real estate is more than transactions—it’s about creating unforgettable experiences and building lasting relationships. Every form, system, or gift I design is intended to make someone’s day smoother, easier, and more meaningful. I’m proud to be part of a team that truly redefines real estate through hospitality, intentional design, and elevated service.
